About the Instructor

Abby De Angelis, DPT

Abby De Angelis earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from NYU as well as her Bachelor of Science from James Madison University. Abbyโ€™s long career has given her extensive clinical experience in outpatient sports and orthopedic physical therapy as well as Womenโ€™s Pelvic Floor Therapy. Abby is an Advanced Hip Clinician through the Hospital for Special Surgery. She completed the Herman and Wallace Pelvic floor coursework to broaden her expertise in Womenโ€™s Health. Abby is a seasoned Physical Therapist who focuses her professionalism on Individualized patient care. She focuses on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and helping her patients return to exercise, sports and a high quality of life.

Throughout her profession, Abby has been a medical volunteer at the NYC Marathon, an active member of the APTA and contributes to the education of future physical therapists as a clinical instructor. She possesses an expertise in soccer, skiing, spinning, running, and overall Physical fitness. Personally, Abby is a married mother of two beautiful daughters. She enjoys being physically active, reading, gardening and spending time with her loving family.
