Yoga Class Schedule

Class descriptions

Beginner Yoga

Beginner Yoga is structured to create a safe environment for you to learn and experience your yoga practice. Whether you have been on a yoga mat 1000 times or never, this class is open to everyone of every practice level. Props such as blankets, blocks, bolsters, and straps will be used to allow the body to fully achieve each position safely and comfortably. Expect class to be held at a slower pace, focusing on stretching and strengthening all areas of the body, while releasing stress and tension from joints and muscles. Modifications of all poses and movements are offered to everyone. No experience necessary!

Gentle Hatha Yoga

This class is taught at a slower pace with less intense poses, and usually includes extended time for mediation, breathwork and relaxation. Expect more warm up movements, and yoga postures to be held for a longer time.

Kids Yoga

Ages 3-5: In this introduction to yoga, children learn basic meditation, breath work and basic postures through play.  Miss Julie takes a fun creative approach to movement in a safe supportive environment. Children can expect to learn tools to self-soothe, manage stress and express themselves.

Ages 6-9:  Children will learn basic postures with more emphasis on form and balance. We will link movement to breath, explore new ways to move our bodies, and build confidence, strength and flexibility. Expect fun elements, time for visualizations and strategies for stress relief.

Open Level Vinyasa

Join us for this vinyasa flow class that will energize you for the rest of the day! Open-level vinyasa uses breath to move from one pose to the next in a carefully sequenced practice allowing the body to release deeply held tightness and tension. Classes may incorporate music, candles, essential oils, and physical adjustments. Vinyasa classes are geared to students with some experience, though all levels are welcome and modifications will be offered to everyone.

Power Hour (Level 1)

This is a fast paced and firm class open to all levels. If you are looking for a full body, strength building, playful workout set to upbeat music, this is the class for you! This is an all-level class that focuses on building strength in your body and mind through a fusion of a Vinyasa-style practice with elements of mindfulness and meditation.

Power Hour (Level 2)

This is a fast-paced and firmer version of our signature Power Hour: Level 1 class. Power Hour: Level 2 gets you sweating even more. Expect a challenging class focused on building strength in your body and mind through a fusion of a Vinyasa-style practice with elements of mindfulness and meditation. If you are looking for a full-body, strength-building, playful workout set to upbeat music, this is the class for you!

Restorative Yoga

Experience a deeper state of rest. Slow down and open the body through passive relaxation in poses supported with blankets, bolster and blocks. Creating sacred space and bringing awareness to the breath, tension is released from the body, balancing the nervous system, and allowing a state of healing – a hard reset for the body, mind and spirit.

Vinyasa Express

Join us for this 45-minute vinyasa-flow class that will energize you for the rest of the day! This open-level vinyasa class uses breath to move from one pose to the next. Expect a quick meditation, warm-up, vinyasa flow, and a juicy savasana. Modifications will be offered to everyone.

Yin Yoga

Yin explores the body’s fascia (deep connective tissue) as well as the meridians and energetic movement throughout the body to help its natural healing process. Yin consists of mostly seated and lying yoga postures that are held longer, typically 3-5 minutes. By releasing our muscles, we properly stress the fascia to increase flexibility and move stagnant energy within the meridians of the entire body to promote an overall feeling of vitality and a balanced well-being. This style of yoga is the perfect balance to a busy, active lifestyle.

Women and Parent Focused Classes

Baby and Me

Baby & Me Yoga is a gentle, developmentally-centered class designed for parents and caregivers to practice yoga with their babies (ages 6 weeks to pre-walking). Enjoy yoga poses, rhymes and activities that provide developmentally beneficial interaction between adult and child. This hour-long class gives parents and caregivers the tools they need to bond with and comfort their little ones as they grow into their bodies and explore their surroundings.

Class includes yoga poses for parents to release tension in areas that may feel tight, burdened and stressed (including your mind!) And since life with a new baby can be overwhelming, we foster a community that will support and address both the physical and emotional challenges that come with this early stage of parenthood. Please bring a blanket and a few toys for your baby, and a yoga mat for you.

Prenatal Yoga

In our prenatal classes, we strive to build community, educate, and make your pregnancy as comfortable as possible by addressing any aches or pains in your body.

Yoga postures are used with a mindful exploration to leave you feeling more prepared for whatever lies ahead in your pregnancy, birth, and beyond.

These classes are open to all trimesters. Whether you are new to yoga or have an established practice, you will enjoy this gentle class to bring energy and stability back to your body through movement and yoga postures.
