Yoga Classes Offered in Morristown

Be Well offers a wide variety of yoga styles to meet your needs, from gentle restorative practices to energizing power yoga classes.

Gentle Hatha Yoga

This class is taught at a slower pace with less intense poses, and usually includes extended time for mediation, breathwork and relaxation. Expect more warm up movements, and yoga postures to be held for a longer time.

Kids Yoga

Ages 3-5: In this introduction to yoga, children learn basic meditation, breath work and basic postures through play.  Miss Julie takes a fun creative approach to movement in a safe supportive environment. Children can expect to learn tools to self-soothe, manage stress and express themselves.

Ages 6-9:  Children will learn basic postures with more emphasis on form and balance. We will link movement to breath, explore new ways to move our bodies, and build confidence, strength and flexibility. Expect fun elements, time for visualizations and strategies for stress relief.

Nia

Nia® is a holistic movement and wellness practice that addresses each aspect of your life — body, mind, and soul. It is designed for you to discover, explore, unleash, and enhance your potential to live a healthy and meaningful life, and find connection in community. Through a system of 52 simple moves, Nia® combines a fusion of dance, martial arts, and mindfulness practices. Each class is adaptable for people of all ages, abilities and fitness levels. Vinyasa Flow Yoga

Open Level Vinyasa

Join us for this vinyasa flow class that will energize you for the rest of the day! Open-level vinyasa uses breath to move from one pose to the next in a carefully sequenced practice allowing the body to release deeply held tightness and tension. Classes may incorporate music, candles, essential oils, and physical adjustments. Vinyasa classes are geared to students with some experience, though all levels are welcome and modifications will be offered to everyone.

Power Yoga Classes

Power Hour (Level 1)

This is a fast paced and firm class open to all levels. If you are looking for a full body, strength building, playful workout set to upbeat music, this is the class for you! This is an all-level class that focuses on building strength in your body and mind through a fusion of a Vinyasa-style practice with elements of mindfulness and meditation.

Power Half Hour

A fast paced and firm class in half the time. Just like Power Hour Level 1, this is an all-level class that focuses on building strength in your body and mind through a fusion of a Vinyasa-style practice with elements of mindfulness and meditation.

Pilates Flow

Strengthen, lengthen, and align in this dynamic Mat Pilates practice. Focus on core stability, controlled movement, and mindful breath as you flow through precise sequences that challenge strength and flexibility. Every move is intentional—activating deep stabilizing muscles while creating balance throughout the body. Perfect for all levels, this class leaves you feeling stronger and more centered

Restorative & Yin Yoga in Morristown

Restorative Yoga

Experience a deeper state of rest. Slow down and open the body through passive relaxation in poses supported with blankets, bolster and blocks. Creating sacred space and bringing awareness to the breath, tension is released from the body, balancing the nervous system, and allowing a state of healing – a hard reset for the body, mind and spirit.

Yin Yoga

Looking for a slower-paced, deeply relaxing yoga practice? Yin yoga in Morristown at Be Well explores the body’s fascia (deep connective tissue) as well as the meridians and energetic movement throughout the body to help its natural healing process. Yin consists of mostly seated and lying yoga postures that are held longer, typically 3-5 minutes. By releasing our muscles, we properly stress the fascia to increase flexibility and move stagnant energy within the meridians of the entire body to promote an overall feeling of vitality and a balanced well-being. This style of yoga is the perfect balance to a busy, active lifestyle.

Baby and Me Yoga

Baby & Me Yoga is a gentle, developmentally-centered class designed for parents and caregivers to practice yoga with their babies (ages 6 weeks to pre-walking).
