Our health practitioners are here to work with both you and your baby to support and guide you to an optimal state of health and happiness postpartum.

Baby (or Babies!) on the way:

Our team of health practitioners collaborate as one to create a safe and nurturing space for you and your baby to grow together in both mind and body. Your journey as a soon-to-be mother requires great care and an individualized approach to ensure the state of health and well-being, for both mother and body, are optimized. Read on to learn about services we offer during pregnancy.

Motherhood begins:

The postpartum time period is often associated with the physical recovery from labor and delivery and the hormonal changes that occur in the first six weeks after your baby is born. However, we are keenly aware that adjusting to new physical and emotional needs after having a baby extends far beyond just six weeks.

You have entered a whole new world of motherhood to navigate with a new and beautiful addition to your family, and the many challenges that come along with it. Scroll down to read how we can support you!

Our nutrition team is in-network with most medical insurances, and can work with you in-person or virtually.

Physical Therapy

Pelvic Floor physical therapy is 1-on-1 physical therapy focusing on the muscles and ligaments most affected by pregnancy and birth. Hands-on techniques and exercises encourage improved function and coordination of the muscles, helping to alleviate any pain or dysfunction.

Treatment is helpful during pregnancy (2nd & 3rd trimester) and 6-weeks postpartum. In addition to alleviating pain, it helps with resolving urinary leakage, diastasis recti (torn abdominals), and C-Section recovery.

Acupuncture

Prenatal

Acupuncture is a wonderfully safe and natural way to effectively treat many common complaints of pregnancy including nausea, back pain, heartburn, swollen hands and feets.

Also many mothers-to-be experience some anxiety about their pregnancy.  Acupuncture is a fantastic way to maintain good health during pregnancy, prevent complications, reduce stress, support the well-being of mother and baby, and prepare for a smooth and efficient labor and delivery. Ask us about your symptoms and how we can help.

Postpartum

Postpartum is intense, where you’ll experience physical and emotional challenges. Acupuncture helps you overcome these problems. Acupuncture can help speed the recovery process, increase milk supply, reduce soreness, fatigue and pain, enable relaxation and get your menstrual cycles back on track. Learn more about acupuncture here, or reach out for a consultation.

Quantum Neuro Reset Therapy (QNRT™)

QNRT is a powerful modality for people who feel stuck despite “doing all the things” for their mental health. It explores the connection between our brain and our body, as it relates to trauma. Any unresolved emotional stress—past or present—affects the nervous system in an adverse way that may lead to physical, mental, and emotional breakdown.

QNRT may also support the mind/body changes that naturally occur postpartum including the chronic feeling of being in “go, go, go mode” or the inability to fully relax. If this sounds like you, feel free to reach out to learn more.

Yoga

Prenatal Yoga

In our prenatal classes, we strive to build community, educate, and make your pregnancy as comfortable as possible by addressing any aches or pains in your body. Yoga postures are used with a mindful exploration to leave you feeling more prepared for whatever lies ahead in your pregnancy, birth, and beyond.

These classes are open to all trimesters, and are offered three times a week. Whether you are new to yoga or have an established practice, you will enjoy specific movements designed to bring energy and stability to the pregnant body. For the most up-to-date class offerings visit our studio schedule.

Baby & Me Yoga

Baby & Me Yoga is a gentle, developmentally-centered class designed for parents and caregivers to practice yoga with their babies (ages 6 weeks to pre-walking). Enjoy yoga poses, rhymes and activities that provide developmentally beneficial interaction between adult and child.

This hour-long class gives parents & caregivers the tools they need to bond with and comfort their little ones as they grow into their bodies and explore their surroundings. Class includes yoga poses for parents to release tension in areas that may feel tight, burdened and stressed (including your mind!) And since life with a new baby can be overwhelming, we foster a community that will support and address both the physical and emotional challenges that come with this early stage of parenthood.
