About the Instructor
Abby De Angelis, DPT
Abby De Angelis earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from NYU as well as her Bachelor of Science from James Madison University. Abbyโs long career has given her extensive clinical experience in outpatient sports and orthopedic physical therapy as well as Womenโs Pelvic Floor Therapy. Abby is an Advanced Hip Clinician through the Hospital for Special Surgery. She completed the Herman and Wallace Pelvic floor coursework to broaden her expertise in Womenโs Health. Abby is a seasoned Physical Therapist who focuses her professionalism on Individualized patient care. She focuses on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and helping her patients return to exercise, sports and a high quality of life.
Throughout her profession, Abby has been a medical volunteer at the NYC Marathon, an active member of the APTA and contributes to the education of future physical therapists as a clinical instructor. She possesses an expertise in soccer, skiing, spinning, running, and overall Physical fitness. Personally, Abby is a married mother of two beautiful daughters. She enjoys being physically active, reading, gardening and spending time with her loving family.
