This 4-week series is designed especially for girls between the ages of 10-12. When transitioning to middle school, it’s important to have a safe and supportive space where girls can learn to cope with stress, build confidence, and connect with others. Our Tween Girls Yoga series was created with these goals in mind.
This 4-week program will introduce your tween to the benefits of yoga. Through breathwork, movement, and mindfulness, she will learn techniques to ease anxiety, practice positive self-talk, and adapt to change.
Each 1-hour class will include:
- Group discussion: A chance for your daughter to connect with other girls her age
- Sensory play: Engaging activities that will help her to relax and focus.
- Introduction to yoga: Basic yoga poses that will help your tween build strength, flexibility, and balance.
- Meditation and visualization: Techniques that will help your daughter calm her mind and focus on the present moment.
