About the Instructor
Tisha Giangiordano, E-RYT-500, RPYT, Fertility Coach
Tisha is an experienced yoga teacher & educator. Her passion to help others conceive grew from her own struggles to get pregnant. After trying for over a year, she was encouraged to use donor eggs due to her age, low responsiveness to fertility medication and several failedattempts at IVF. She refused to accept this and decided to gain control of her own health and wellness. Using all her knowledge and experience, she was finally able to get pregnant at age 42. She is now the proud mother of her daughter Kaia.
Tisha completed her 200-hr yoga teacher training at YogaWorks in 2017 with Alicia Cheung and Oliver Reinsch and continued to study with them for an additional 100-hr Yin Yoga and Myofascial Release Therapy Training. Shortly after, she became a Yoga Tune Up® Instructor (2017) trained by Laurel Beversdorf and Elizabeth Wipff. In 2019, she completed her advanced 300-hr yoga teacher training with Omni Kitts-Ferrara and Donna Scro at Yoga Mechanics and became a Detour Method® Instructor. In addition to her yoga training, Tisha became certified in FRC®, FRA® and Kinstretch® with Functional Range Systems® and completed her certification as a NASM Certified Personal Trainer. After the birth of her daughter, she trained with Deb Flashenberg at the Prenatal Yoga Center in NYC and became an 85-hour prenatal yoga teacher (2022). Tisha has been a teacher trainer for Be Well’s 200-hr and 300-her yoga teacher training programs for the last three years, and will co-lead the 200-hr training with Marisa in 2023. In addition, Tisha has been assisting the 200-hr and 300-hr yoga teacher training programs at Yoga Mechanics for the last three years with Omni Kitts-Ferrara.
Tisha is currently studying with Tiffany Cruikshank of Yoga Medicine® to weave Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) into her classes and sessions with private clients. Her teaching is strongly based around anatomy and function, and she has a neuro-centric approach to health and performance. As she continues to learn, her yoga and movement practice continues to evolve as well as her teaching.
