Twice a week, Be Well offers classes to care for yourself while bonding with your infant in a developmentally appropriate way. These fun & supportive classes are designed specifically for moms with babies aged 6-weeks to pre-walking* who have been cleared by their physician to return to exercise. We understand the challenge of finding “me-time” after childbirth, so we created a space where you can exercise alongside your baby.
What You Can Expect in Class:
- Happy Babies: Playful activities and songs will keep your little one engaged while you work out.
- Supportive Community: Build connections with other moms, share experiences, and feel empowered to prioritize your well-being.
- Improved Health: Exercise is essential for postpartum recovery, boosting mood, reducing stress, and increasing overall energy levels.
- Flexible Class Style: Moms are welcome to take feeding/diaper-changing breaks as needed.
Mommy & Me: Fit Together
Wednesdays at 10-11am
Effective Workouts: We’ll use safe and effective exercises with modifications for all fitness levels. We’ll incorporate resistance bands and dumbbells (where appropriate) to target areas that need strengthening after childbirth. Taught by Lori Della Valle, experienced personal trainer focused on the quality of life for new moms.
Baby & Me Yoga
Fridays at 11:15am-12:15pm
Effort and Ease: Yoga poses for parents to release tension in areas that may feel tight, burdened and stressed (including your mind!) while rebuilding strength postpartum. Taught by Julie Rebels, RYT-500 and children’s yoga teacher at Be Well.
